Pleasant Holidays Resigns USTOA Membership
Japan & Orient Tours and Journeys of Discovery
Effective November 12, 2001, Pleasant Holidays has resigned USTOA membership, and as such no longer participates in the USTOA $1 Million Consumer Protection Plan.
Pleasant Holidays brands include Japan & Orient Tours and Journeys of Discovery. "Travel agents should be aware that purchases made to any of these entities are fully covered by the USTOA $1 Million Consumer Protection Plan prior to November 12. However, client payments thereafter will not be covered by the USTOA $1 Million Consumer Protection Plan," advises USTOA President Bob Whitley.
