USTOA will host its annual virtual USTOA Digital Marketing Academy on March 11, 2026. This year’s academy will focus on emerging trends in digital marketing, including SEO, AI, paid marketing, and more!

This one-day, immersive learning experience crafted exclusively for USTOA Members, will help build your foundational knowledge of digital marketing, while giving you a better understanding of how quickly evolving trends can impact your business. USTOA’s Digital Marketing Academy is anchored by a presentation from Will Scott, CEO and co-founder of Search Influence, a leading digital marketing agency. Will’s presentation will shed light on the emerging world of AI-engines and how they are impacting online search today.

This virtual conference will bring together leaders in the tech and digital marketing space for a blend of big-picture ideas and tactical insights on what trends will be shaping the future of travel.

Dan Christian is a global travel industry executive, entrepreneur, and founder/host of the Travel Trends Podcast—the world’s #1 B2B travel podcast with listeners in over 125 countries. A seasoned leader, he previously served as Chief Digital Officer at The Travel Corporation, overseeing global digital transformation and marketing across 40 brands. Dan has also held senior roles at Lonely Planet and G Adventures bringing deep expertise across travel, media, and loyalty. He created the annual Travel Trends AI Summit, uniting 2,000+ professionals at the intersection of AI and travel. Dan partners with leading industry organizations, speaks at major global events, and advises start-ups and established travel brands on innovation and growth.


Will Scott is the co-founder and CEO of Search Influence, where he co-leads a 30+ person digital marketing agency. Trained as an architect, he put his first website online in the mid-1990s and has been at the forefront of digital marketing ever since. A longtime columnist and international speaker, Will is perhaps best known for coining the term “Barnacle SEO” in 2008. He is currently deeply focused on AI-driven content and was an early voice in the space, first presenting on AI content in February 2023. Outside of work, Will is a husband, father, marketer, and Ironman.
