The USTOA Digital Marketing Academy is back! After a brief hiatus, USTOA will host its fourth Digital Marketing Academy on Thursday, March 21, 2024. This year’s academy will be virtual and focus entirely on artificial intelligence.

This one-day, immersive learning experience crafted exclusively for USTOA Members, will help build your foundational knowledge of AI while giving you a better understanding of how this quickly evolving technology can impact your business. Anchored by keynote speaker and generative AI expert Janette Roush of New York City Tourism + Conventions, this virtual conference will bring together leaders in the tech and digital marketing space for a blend of big-picture ideas and tactical insights on what trends will be shaping the future of travel.

Rostana Wardak is Regional Director, West, Convention Development at New York City Tourism + Conventions. She is at the forefront of merging hospitality with innovative technologies. Her expertise spans a wide range of AI applications, including predictive analytics, leveraging market intelligence, extracting customer insights, enhancing personalized communication, and improving sales forecasting and reporting.   With over a decade of rich experience in hospitality management combined with her educational background—a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management and an MBA in Management from San Diego State University — Rostana has a unique vantage point on the transformative role of AI in hospitality.

, Account Manager at Google. Ria has been at Google for over 5 years. Her past 4 years have been focused in lead generation and heavily in the travel industry. During her time at Google, she’s ensured that companies’ Google accounts ladder up to bigger business goals by supporting data integration, day to day campaign management strategies, and large expansion strategies. Ria lives in New Jersey with her husband and daughter and works out of St. John’s Terminal, Manhattan Google office.
