INTREPID TRAVEL RESIGNS USTOA MEMBERSHIP

AS A RESULT OF SPLIT FROM TUI

NEW YORK (July 31, 2015) - Effective July 31, 2015, Intrepid Travel will resign its membership in USTOA and as such will no longer participate in the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program.

“Travel agents should be aware that payments made prior to July 31, 2015 are protected under the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program. Client payments thereafter will not be covered by the USTOA program,” advises USTOA President and CEO, Terry Dale.

Intrepid Travel North America President, Cyndi Zesk, cited the main reason for resigning is a formality based on a de-merger with TUI. She stated that the company values the USTOA membership deeply and has every intention of re-joining USTOA as an independent entity as soon as possible.

USTOA President and CEO, Terry Dale, said that Intrepid Travel has been good member and he looks forward to them returning under their own brand.
