USTOA SIR Education Series - An Introduction to Creating a Sustainability Strategy

Event Details

Thursday, January 23, 2025
12:00pm to 1:00pm ET

Join USTOA and Tourism Cares for an in-depth overview of their jointly-created sustainability sample strategy. Paula Vlamings, Chief Impact Officer at Tourism Cares and Molly Laycob, Global Social Impact Manager at USTOA worked together to create a sustainability sample strategy that all members can utilize to either start or advance their sustainability strategy. Attendees will be walked through the interactive document that was created as a guide for developing a full management strategy to ensure the sustainability of your business, and the travel and tourism industry. It includes examples and tools to assist Tour Operators in reaching their sustainability goals.

Topics that will be covered in this session:
-What can I take to leadership/employees to get started?
-I just need a document to get me started.
-What are other strategies out there and what should we be doing first, 2nd, etc?
-Our organization has various sustainability initiatives but no all-encompassing strategy to explain or make progress on our journey.

A meeting link will be sent out one day before the webinar.

Please contact Molly Laycob, Global Social Impact Manager with any questions at gsi@ustoa.com.
