USTOA will hold the third
USTOA Sustainability is Responsibility (SIR) 3.0 Summit in Singapore from May 18 through 21, 2024. In partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board, USTOA invites its Active and Associate Members to the Summit to foster collaborations, participate in cross-sector learning, and set the path for a more sustainable future for the travel industry.
The Summit
will bring member representatives from across the travel industry value chain together for interactive dialogue, educational content, and case study learnings. Our first SIR summit in 2022 focused on the "why" part of creating a sustainability business case, while the 2023 SIR summit, in collaboration with Tourism Cares, focused on the "how". The 2024 SIR summit will be focused on you, our members, as it seeks to address sustainability goals in our industry, and establish tangible best practices to help you move forward in your individual sustainability journeys.
Key learning objectives of the USTOA SIR 3.0 summit will be:
- Creating a business case for sustainability.
- Identifying good certifications and criteria.
- Collaborations and partnerships.
The Summit is designed as an
executive-level interactive conference with interactive and educational content, to give all attendees valuable insight, and a chance to reflect, discuss, and gain practical knowledge that you can utilize for your own unique needs and business development purposes.
Expressions of interest in attending are open to both USTOA Active and Associate Members with a focus on senior leadership (CEOs and Directors). Sustainability staff members are also welcome and encouraged to express interest to attend.
Finally, this event is designed to bring together a cross-functional representation of the travel industry with the intention of assembling a diverse, comprehensive group to create meaningful outputs not just for those participating, but also the industry at large. For that reason, and given our capacity limitations, while all USTOA Active and Associate Members are welcome to express interest in attending, final selection of delegates is at the sole discretion of USTOA and Singapore Tourism Board. For those selected to participate, the registration fee will be $300 per delegate. The registration link and more information on the program can be found below.
