STATEMENT FROM USTOA ON PENDING US GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN
NEW YORK (September 29, 2023) – Terry Dale, president & CEO of the United States Tour United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA), released the following statement:
With time running out for Congress to find a solution and avoid a shutdown, USTOA is concerned about the direct effects of a government shutdown on the travel and tourism industries, which have the potential to be significant. USTOA is encouraging its Active Members to contact their Representatives and Senators to urge them to pass a funding bill and avoid a shutdown. USTOA continues to monitor the situation and engage Members of Congress to get a funding deal passed.
