Blessed with a tropical climate and fun-loving people, the Philippines is an archipelago of 7,107 islands that offers a unique blend of natural beauty, historic sites, cultural attractions, bustling metropolises, authentic Filipino food and cuisine, graffiti-splashed jeepneys, white sandy beaches, bug-eyed tarsiers (the smallest primate in the world), and rich marine life.
See the astonishing seascapes of El Nido, one of the country’s premier tourist attractions. Take a kayak ride around the limestone formations of small and big lagoons, or get dropped off on a private island for a seafood picnic. Or enjoy the cosmopolitan Manila, historic Cebu, scenic Bohol, laidback Banaue with its 2,000 year-old rice terraces or the beachside paradises of Boracay and Palawan.
Get to know the heart and soul of the Philippine culture by embarking on a gastronomic journey and fall in love with its local culture, destinations, and of course, people. The country’s most alluring attribute is the personal warmth, openness and cheerfulness of its people. What differentiates the Philippines from every other place in the world is the Filipino. Filipinos have a gift for transforming what is already a beautiful place into an unforgettable, special place.
